Brendan Perry - Senior Partner
Brendan specialises in Probate and Property Law and is Head of the Probate Department. He is very experienced in all aspects of Private Client work, Wills, Estate Administration, Powers of Attorney and Trusts.
His local knowledge of Bath and the surrounding area is also invaluable in his Conveyancing work. He has wide experience in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing, leasehold property, transfer of equity, re-mortgages and tenancy agreements.
He is widely respected in the wider community in Bath having been a former rugby player for both Bath and Somerset and he is a past President of the Bath Rugby Club.

David Gay - Senior Partner
David Gay specialises in Property Law and Probate and is a Member of the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP). David is Head of the Conveyancing Department and has extensive experience in all aspects of residential and commercial conveyancing, leasehold property, transfer of equity, re-mortgages and tenancy agreements.
Having lived in Bath for most of his life, his extensive local knowledge is a great asset in Conveyancing matters particularly to clients moving into the area. His client base is not just local as his experience and client loyalty means he has many clients in London and throughout the country.
Away from the office David maintains his interest in rugby, particularly supporting junior rugby clubs.

Sarah Loveless - Partner
Sarah joined the Practice in 2002 and specialises in Wills and Probate and Family Law. She became a Partner in October 2007. Sarah is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Solicitors for the Elderly and she is also a member of Resolution which commits Family Lawyers to resolving disputes in a non-confrontational way.
Sarah has always enjoyed travelling and sport, and has run many half marathons and the London Marathon raising over £1,000.00 for the charity "Parents for Children". Sarah lives in Bath with her husband and two young daughters.
"I enjoy helping families in the local community. My work involves dealing with clients who are going through a divorce, or preparing Wills and obtaining Probate when someone has died. These can be distressing times for clients and I make sure that I never lose sight of this fact in the way that I carry out my job."
Justine Alford - Partner
Justine began her career in London and South East where she worked in private practice and in-house positions covering a wide range of private client work. She joined Burningham and Brown in 2014 and specialises in all aspects of estate adminstration, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and some trust administration.
Justine is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and Solicitors for the Elderly.

On the 1st February 2018, the Ministry of Justice has launched the Office of Public Guardian Fee Refund Scheme for fee payments between the 1st April 2013 and the 31st March 2017. The Scheme is by way of an application online however, if you do not have access to the internet you can telephone the Office of Public Guardian in order to action a telephone claim instead.
